Purpose
Our purpose is to engage girls in knowing Jesus and following him through discipleship, friendship and fun.
Inviting girls to discover that they are deeply loved by God and invited into the exciting adventure of following Jesus together with their friends.

Plan
Gathering weekly for community, relationship building and discipleship.
Engaging in scripture through large group time, discussion in small group time and take-home projects.
We do fantastic crafts, play hilarious games, wear costumes, put on plays, make a lot of noise and laugh a lot!

What to Expect:

We want to equip girls for their future, a bright and abundant future in the way of Jesus.  To see girls engage with and be transformed by the Word of God. We shape a space where they can experience Scripture not as a book of stories but as God’s living history and the truth for our future.  That scripture and Jesus is relevant and applicable to our lives and gives perspective, purpose, direction, hope and peace in all circumstances.  

LEADERS IN TRAINING (L.I.T Program)

GRADE 8 - 12 GIRLS

Launching 2024

To develop High School girls in their leadership, confidence, capabilities and capacities.  Through equipping, teaching and hands-on opportunities leading at Twist Wednesday nights, and co-leading alongside an adult leader.

Purpose

The L.I.T. Program is designed to develop High School Girls in both knowledge and experience through hands-on opportunities leading at Twist.
(Ephesians 3.12)

Who is it for?

The L.I.T. program is for any girl in grade 8-12



What to expect

L.I.T.s are paired with an adult co-leader, leadership meetings before Wednesday nights and periodical leadership meetings throughout the year.  
L.I.T.s will lead their small group twice a month alongside their co-leader.
And to work through material throughout the year with the other L.I.T.s and the L.I.T. director.
